Most important for your safety: Do not forget the s on https and check if the correct website is loaded.
Do not get the software from any other source.
Microsoft Edge (160.+):

Click "Download TwoDFrame" (or Download ThreeDFrame / ThreeDFEM).

Click "Show folder/directory".

If you want to verify the downloaded zip-file, check its size and use the Get-Filehash command.

Unzip to frame....exe (right mouse button or long tap).

All our files are checked against computer viruses with the latest Microsoft Defender software.
However, it is good practice to scan downloaded files against computer viruses after they have travelled through the internet.
Recommendation for any download from the internet:
With the right mouse button (or long tap), click frame....exe. Select "Scan with Microsoft Defender".

STOP, if your anti-virus software detects anything irregular. Someone tries to get between our web-server and your computer. Let us know.

With the right mouse button (or long tap), again click frame....exe. Select "Run as administrator".

Microsoft Defender SmartScreen probably prevents the app from starting. Click More info, then click Run anyway.

The User Account Control may asks, if the app is allowed to make changes to your device. Click Yes, if you want to install the software.
If you are not sure yet, here is a safety checklist:
- Correct website? https?
- Correct file size?
- Correct Get-Filehash?
- Scanned against computer viruses?

The files are unzipped. The installation program appears with a few more questions.
