Your language is missing?
-
We are sorry! However, if you are keen to translate, TwoDFrame
will be available in your native language, too.
-
Why should you translate?
-
Your native fellow students and engineers will thank you.
You will get a free license of our software.
If we sell licenses in your country, you will benefit per license.
You will get very familiar to the English structural engineering terms,
which you may need in your future career.
When applying for an international job, you will have something extraordinary to show.
-
Which languages and countries are supported?
-
Any language that is not supported yet and can be processed with Windows.
Any country, that does not create legal problems for us within the laws and regulations of Germany, Europe,
or the United Nations.
-
Is it hard work?
-
Like engineering and computer programming, this is a job for enthusiastic people with stamina.
TwoDFrame uses many engineering terms in the report. The graphical
user interface uses even more.
Moreover, TwoDFrame has a comprehensive help to translate.
After the translation is done and built into TwoDFrame, it needs corrections...
By the way: it is hard work for us, too, but
you may already guess: we ourselves are enthusiastic people who are not afraid of work nor pain.
Actually, we do enjoy. Moreover, we enjoy to run marathons, to cycle hundred kilometers,
and to climb up the highest mountains. How about you?
-
Which qualifications do you need? Please, read carefully:
-
You are a civil engineering student or a civil engineer with stamina.
You are fluent with the structural engineering terms in your native language and you are keen
to learn the English equivalents.
You are an open minded, constructive, and tolerant world citizen.
You want to build the peaceful and free world of tomorrow.
You do not have reservations against people because of
their race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion,
national or social origin, property, birth or other status.
-
How to start?
-
Translate the language file (c:\twdframe\language\language.user.txt) and send it to us by e-mail.
This is the small job and will make the report work in your native language, already.
-
You can check your translations directly in the report, if you set the report language to 'User'.
Keep a copy of the translated file at a safe place.
language.user.txt is overwritten with each installation of TwoDFrame.
